For measuring pressure in acetylene pressure relief valves, at Emvo Techniek we have special acetylene pressure gauges. Acetylene is especially used in welding technology and the pressure and it is important that pressure is set at the right value.

Acetylene is extremely explosive, so it is important that the acetylene pressure gauge is safe for blow-outs. Our model has a case diameter of 63 mm and has a brass bottom entry as well as a brass mechanism. It has a plastic window and a blow-out seal at the back. In case of an excessive pressure increase, the instrument will literally blow off this rubber seal to release pressure and prevent any bystanders from getting hurt from shattering parts. When choosing your acetylene pressure gauge, it is important that the maximum average pressure does not exceed two thirds of the maximum scale value, so there is room for pressure increase without direct consequences for the instrument.

This instrument measures acetylene pressure using a copper alloy Bourdon tube. That is a C-shaped tube that will deform, bending straighter when pressure inside the tube increases. This will cause one end of the tube to move, and that movement is enhanced by a mechanism connected to an indicator needle that rotates over a display scale, enabling you to read the pressure.

EMVO Techniek offers everything with regard to measuring instruments. We are both manufacturer and wholesaler. Is your manometer broken or does it need to be recalibrated? No problem at all. Specialists ensure with special internationally certified reference equipment that your measuring instrument always works correctly.
